WHY THESE DELIVERABLES MATTER
01
Cleaner carrier responses start with a cleaner bid package.
02
Better submissions come from structure, not just stronger pricing.
03
Defensible awards require normalized scoring and documented comparisons.

Most freight bid problems are process problems — these deliverables are built to fix the process, on both sides of the table.

Process

A Practical Engagement Model

The same four-step structure applies whether you're building a bid or responding to one.

1

Scope the Engagement

Confirm fit, define the deliverable, set the fee, and agree on timeline. Everything is fixed before work begins — no hourly surprises.

2

Gather Inputs & Build

Collect the lane data, RFP documents, or team inputs. FB360 builds the working draft — structured, formatted, and ready for review.

3

Review & Refine Together

Collaborative review pass to incorporate your team's context. Nothing goes out without your sign-off — the artifact reflects your organization, not generic consulting output.

4

Deliver & Deploy

Final artifact delivered in a usable format. Optional execution support — managing carrier communications, event coordination — is available as a separately scoped add-on.

Founder-led, start to finish. You work directly with Chris on every engagement — no analyst layers, no handoffs, no consulting bench.

FB360 runs on an async-first model — most collaboration happens through structured written updates, with responses within one business day. Live working sessions are scheduled in advance when a call genuinely adds value.

About FB360

Built by Someone Who's
Worked Both Sides.

Most freight bid problems are process problems. Shippers release poorly structured RFPs that frustrate carriers and produce unusable responses. Carriers submit disorganized bids that don't communicate their actual capabilities. Both sides leave value on the table — not because of pricing, but because no one built the process correctly.

  • Founder-led. Every engagement is run directly by Chris.
  • Selective about fit. We say no when the engagement isn't right.
  • Deliverable-oriented. Every engagement ends with a working artifact.
  • Fixed-fee and clearly scoped. Price and scope agreed before work begins.

Where FB360 doesn’t fit

  • Not a staffing agency or multi-layer firm
  • Not a software platform or load board
  • Not a freight brokerage or carrier
  • Not the right fit for every engagement — and we’ll say so

Representative aggregate exposure across engagements managed over time — not a platform or software metric.

Client Feedback

What Clients Say

"FB360 helped us standardize our RFP response process across the entire sales team."

Before working with Chris, every rep built responses differently. We now have a consistent framework that actually matches what shippers expect to see.

Sales Director

3PL Broker · Mid-Atlantic

"Having someone who'd sat on the shipper side changed the quality of our response."

That dual perspective was the thing that stood out most. Chris structured our response the way a shipper actually evaluates it — not just what looked good to us.

Account Manager

Global 3PL Broker · Atlanta, GA

"We'd never run a formal freight bid before. The process was much smoother than doing it internally."

We had the lane data but no idea how to structure it into something carriers could actually respond to. The final package was exactly what we needed.

Common Questions

FAQ

FB360 serves two client types. For shippers: mid-market companies with $10M–$250M in non-parcel transportation and warehousing spend who lack a dedicated logistics procurement team and have no documented RFP playbook. For carriers and brokers: freight brokers, 3PLs, and similar providers with traditional sales and account management roles but no dedicated bid specialist. If your team already runs a mature, well-staffed bid process, FB360 is probably not the right fit — we'll tell you that upfront.
FB360 supports RFP and bid work across full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), flatbed, temperature-controlled, third-party warehousing, air freight, ocean freight, and customs brokerage. Scope varies by engagement — contact us to confirm fit for your specific modes.
Included in base scope: bid strategy session, document structure, lane and equipment schedule template, pricing format framework, carrier instructions, accessorial schedule, and a collaborative review pass before the document is finalized. For carrier response engagements: completed bid template in the shipper's format, pricing section organized from your team-provided data, and an executive response document — reviewed jointly before submission. Optional add-ons (separately scoped): carrier or shipper communication management during the live event, additional revision rounds, and follow-on advisory support. Add-ons are agreed and priced before work begins — nothing is assumed.
No — not as an independent FB360 service. FB360 does not supply market rate benchmarks from third-party freight pricing databases as a standalone deliverable. What FB360 does provide is bid structure support: pricing format design, rate table structure, accessorial schedule frameworks, and organization of your team's existing lane data into a professional, submission-ready format. If client-side access to pricing tools is part of a specific engagement scope, that would be discussed and agreed upfront.
All engagements are fixed-fee, scoped upfront, and priced per transportation mode — lane volume does not affect price. Shippers — Done-For-You: RFP Development $10,000–$22,000 (tiered by in-scope mode spend: Under $5M $10K · $5M–$20M $15K · Over $20M $22K — final tier confirmed at scoping); RFI Development $5,000–$10,000; RFP Market-Readiness Audit $3,000; Shipper Strategy Consultation $500. Shippers — Institutional Enablement: Freight Sourcing Masterclass (Seat) $2,500; Playbook License $10,000; In-House Bid Center Transformation $24,000 (currently $17,000 charter-client rate for early adopters). Carriers/Brokers — Done-For-You: RFP Response $5,000; RFI Response $2,500; Bid Refinement $2,000; Pre-Submission Review $3,500; Carrier Strategy Consultation $500. Carriers/Brokers — Institutional Enablement: Enterprise Bid Training (Seat) $1,500; Playbook License $5,000; Sales Team Live Training $2,000/rep (Charter-Client rate — limited initial cohorts). Advisory retainers from $1,500/month.
No. All engagements are fixed-fee per transportation mode. Lane count, shipment volume, and freight spend tier do not affect the per-mode fee once scoped. The only variable that affects price is the transportation mode in scope — each mode is priced as a separate engagement.
Not as part of base scope. Done-For-You engagements produce a complete sourcing package ready for your team to release. Carrier communication management, live-round support, Q&A management, and execution oversight during the active event window are available as add-ons or through an advisory retainer — agreed and priced before the event begins.
A retainer makes sense when you have recurring bid activity and want ongoing access without scoping a new project each time. For shippers, this typically means multiple annual bid events or a need for consistent advisory across an ongoing sourcing calendar. For carriers and brokers, it typically means 4+ active enterprise RFP responses per year with no dedicated internal bid resource. Most retainer relationships begin after an initial project engagement.
For shipper RFP/RFI Development: historical lane data (origin, destination, volume, weight, equipment type), current carrier list or target providers, annual freight spend figure by mode, and your target event timeline. For carrier/broker response work: the shipper's full RFP or RFI document, your rate data for the requested lanes, and a company capability summary. Additional inputs are requested during scoping — nothing is assumed.
The following are not part of base scope and would be separately priced if agreed: carrier or shipper communication management during a live event; additional revision rounds beyond the standard collaborative review pass; live-round Q&A support; award scenario modeling or negotiation advisory; TMS or software setup or integration; and market freight rate benchmarks from third-party pricing databases.
FB360 delivers work in standard formats — typically structured Excel templates and Word/PDF documents — that are compatible with any TMS or procurement platform. FB360 does not configure, integrate with, or provide support for specific TMS platforms as part of engagement scope. If your TMS has specific data format requirements, let us know during scoping and we'll build to that specification.
Timeline depends on scope and client responsiveness. RFP Development typically runs 3–5 weeks from kickoff to final deliverable. RFI Development is typically 2–4 weeks. Carrier RFP Response engagements run 1–3 weeks depending on complexity and the shipper's submission deadline. Institutional Enablement products (Course Seats, Playbook Licenses) are delivered digitally within a few business days of engagement confirmation. All timelines are confirmed during scoping.
Most collaboration is async. You'll receive structured written updates and responses within one business day. Live sessions are scheduled in advance when a meeting genuinely adds value — not as a default check-in format. This keeps work moving without requiring your calendar to move with it.
